A) Wouldn't that, by your definition, mean all memories would be deemed 'good'? OR.. Perhaps not. Perhaps then .. it is simply Curiosity and Inquiry! Open and unbiased.
 Maybe the question is - Can "soft eyes" see truth that is sad and unfortunate?
B) Do I seem to be seeing only the bitterness? I hope that I am remaining curious and willing to engage with ... that mysterious meaning-making process within. I'm just arguing with it 'out loud' perhaps. :}
Certainly what I see as my challenge is .. well on one hand, impossible: to maintain the original innocence of the memories - to keep them unsullied by current knowledge. Not possible, in honesty. SO.. this simply represents a new letting go, another 'little death' in the process.
Brightfeather, thanks for stopping in. I deeply honor your presence.

There are two ways to look at memories and then move forward. If you focus on discerning every bitter deail of a bad memory then you are using your "hard eyes". If you choose to enjoy the sweetness of a good memory then you are using your "soft eyes". Now suppose you decided to view all memories, both good and bad ones with your "soft eyes".
